Extension specialist travels world, calls Logan home

  Dale ZoBell took a bite out of a hot liver, freshly removed from the belly of a gazelle in Mongolia. He witnessed an elephant run past him at 20 mph, while he stood outside his door in Nepal. He has slept through a 6.668 earthquake, walked on the white beaches in Australia and climbed the volcano Mount Merapi in Indonesia, three days before it erupted. Full story

Alumni illustrate success of fine arts program

  Lily Toy Hong decided she wanted to be a children's book illustrator in the second grade. "I didn't dare tell anyone," she said. "At the time, it seemed really impossible." So after graduation, rather than pursue a career as an illustrator, she moved to Hawaii, and later worked on a degree in commercial art at Utah Technical College. Full story
