Women's soccer beats Texas State in shutout

The Utah State women's soccer team hosted Texas State in a 4-nil shutout  on Sunday afternoon.

USU scored three goals in the first half, one each from midfielders Lexi Morgan, Maris Hamblin and Jennifer Flynn.

Sophomore striker Jade Tarver netted in a header in the 78th minute to make it 4-0.

The Aggies are now 7-2-6 and 2-0-2 in Western Athletic Conference play. Utah State will next travel to take on Seattle on Oct. 12 at 2 p.m.
